LOCAL RATES WELCOMED

FOR NATIONAL ROOF WELDING

Keeping welding rates competitive in all parts of the country, without sacrificing standards or service, is one of the key business principles for specialist aluminium welding company, MR Site Services.

Melvyn Rowberry knows from long experience in the industry that what main building contractors are looking for is skilled and reliable teams on hand to service national roofing contracts.

Mindful of this, MR Site Services’ welding teams have now been expanded to 17, of which nearly a half operate from the company’s northern base in Hamilton, Scotland to cover projects right across the north and Scotland.  Teams based from its head office in Worcester service the south, midlands and East Anglia.

“ The formula seems to be working well “, comments Melvyn Rowberry, MD “ In planning locally based welders to cover national projects we are able to work at rates that are unmatched by any others in the industry and unheard of in the ‘80s and ‘90s. ”

And it is not just the welding costs that count, but also a highly skilled and active workforce, attentive to customer needs.  The team at MR Site Services is extremely active in consulting customers on best design solutions and in making on-site visits to the extent that in a particular week, someone from the company might be in Belfast one day, Wales another, then Newcastle later on.

Little stops the MR Site Services team’s enthusiasm for roof welding - from its Glasgow base, the company recently serviced a roofing contract on the Isle of Barra in the Outer Hebrides in the very wintry conditions of November and December.

The results speak from themselves in that MR Site Services have already achieved their forecast annual sales in the first six months of the financial year.

MR Site Services is constantly working on major roofing projects around the country including those for schools, hospitals and leisure centres to retail parks, airports and ferry terminals.
